What is your favorite thing about being an educator? I love how every day is different and seeing students grow, both socially and academically.
What are you looking forward to this school year and/or favorite memory from this school year? The 8th grade ski trip is one of my favorite times of year. Most students have never skied before and learn a lifelong skill! I also enjoy the Superstar events that are supported by the Cedar Rapids Foundation and generous donations from community sponsors who share our same passions.
Favorite Teacher Store event or memory? The Teacher Store gatherings at NewBo and Big Grove have been awesome!
Favorite school supply item of all time? Pencils, Clorox wipes, pencil cases, earbuds, and Expo markers
Hobbies outside of education? Spending time with family, watching sports, being outdoors, walking, and running
